Facebook is the world's most popular social media network, but its mobile app requires the use of Messenger to chat.
But the Y_2023 is going to be the year of great change in Facebook in this regard.
Facebook was the first social media app in the world to remove the option of "in-app chats".
In 2014, Facebook removed the "in-app chat" feature and introduced a separate Messenger app for chats.
This method also worked and Messenger is considered to be the second largest messaging app in the world after WhatsApp.
But now Meta has decided to bring back the chat feature within Facebook.
Twitter user "Matt Navarra" tweeted a screenshot of the new chat option, sharing the social media network's new features.
This screenshot shows that the chats will be accessible by swiping on the right side of the Facebook app and there will be no need to open the Messenger app.
